 Hello! I'm Carrie Smith. I run and operate a small, refreshingly quiet salon located in the front part of my home. I am many things. I am a mother to three beautiful children. Estee, Silas and my daughter Jaymes. They play a big roll on why I chose to open my salon here at home  and honestly, I couldn't feel more fortunate. I am a wife. My husband Curtis and I have been together 25 blissful years! I am a lover of all beauty. I've always had the ability to make things more beautiful. It's my passion, my hobby, my everything! My husband thinks I'm nuts because I literally spend all my free time  taking every relevant class I can possibly sign up for.It's an addiction! My mentor is Tracey Cunningham, hair colorist to the stars, I continue to take all of her classes and share her skill set.

 My career as a Stylist started about 25 years ago. Young and eager to learn, I worked for or with every stylist that resided in the area in the early 2000's. I was lucky enough to be able to shadow these inspiring stylists and learn each one's best tricks! I became passionate about coloring and cutting hair This is now what I specialize in.

  I would say that I'm not your ordinary stylist. My philosophy is  to under promise and over give. I educate you every step of the way and only use  tools and products that you will find simple to replicate at home. I see no sence in doing your hair fancy and sending you home with no skill. Your hair should look good everyday, not just the day you visit your stylist! Consultations are the backbone to my service. 90% of the new clients that walk in my door are scared. They all have had a bad experience somewhere and are terrified it will happen again. I always take the time to discuss those fears and we jointly provide a solution that is detailed and soothing to those disheveled nerves! Being from a small town I find it essential to deliver great hair to every client that sits in my chair. Running into one another  is inevitable.   I cater to people that are in search of hair that is dimensional and natural looking. Brunettes, Blondes, Redheads and sometimes grey hair. I do not do fashion color. I also love cutting and styling women's straight and curly hair.
